Originally from Baltimore, MD, I grew up immersed in Fine Art training. A painter since my youth, I developed an interest in digital video mediums emerging in the late 90s. I attended The Maryland Institute College of Art in 2002. During that time I discovered my natural instincts for film making, visual effects and animation. After receiving a Bachelors in Fine Art, I moved to Los Angeles to find my place in the TV and Film world. In the early 2000s,I was thrown headfirst into the world of high budget, vfx-heavy music videos, film and tv. By 2007 my strengths transitioned almost exclusively to finishing National Commercial Campaigns for major brands we all know and love. Now a 19 year veteran in the industry of complex visual effects, beauty, color grading, compositing, clean up, graphics, conform and delivery. My strengths lie in leading complicated jobs (often solo), managing teams of artists, handling conforming, shot break out, coloring, comping, beauty, clean up, and some 3-D within the Flame software. I find great pride in making things “look right”. I have been working with a room full of clients for over 15yrs, and pride myself on interpreting their vision & sensibilities while keeping things running quick and efficient.
